The Unleashed portrait program was created in 2012 to help benefit local animal shelters. So many of them are very often at maximum capacity and could use all the help they can get to take care of these sweet animals!
These limited edition sessions are available in studio roughly 2-3 times a year. These discounted sessions are focused on bringing in food donations and awareness for local animal shelters. Sessions have limited dates and times available.
A portion of proceeds from each session will go towards a sponsoring an animal for adoption!
Once you've read through the information here on our website, fill out the contact form to receive additional information. Then we'll schedule a quick call to see if we're a good fit to work together.
A contract and session fee are required to reserve your spot for this event. Next we'll talk about background colors for the photos, your pets personality, and where in your home you'd like to display portrait art.
Let the fun begin! I'll take a few minutes to get to know your pet and then we'll start photographing. I move quickly, as most animals lose focus within a few minutes of following commands.
It's time for the big reveal! In 1-2 weeks we will meet online via Zoom for a presentation of your finished portraits. Here you'll make the final purchase decisions on your art pieces and digital images.
Let's have fun!
After all, pets are family too! Shouldn't their sweet faces be displayed on your walls with the rest of your loved ones?
• Can I be in the photos with my pet?
No, my sets are sized to accommodate pets only.
• Can I bring a pet that's not a cat or dog?
Absolutely! I've welcomed many types of pets in the studio, including snakes, hedgehogs, pigs, rats, raccoons, and even a monkey!
• Do you photograph on location?
Pet portraits are done exclusively in studio.
• Will there be other pets present during my session?
Nope! In fact, the studio door is kept locked when an animal is inside. If sessions are scheduled back-to-back, families are asked to wait outside until their session time and the studio is clear.
• Can I book a pet session outside of your event dates?
No, our pet sessions are only available during the specified event times. Because my studio focuses on newborns and babies, it is important for me to keep the studio clean, sanitized and free of pet hair and dander.

Sessions are for pets only, no humans.
We will meet at the studio or online via Zoom 1-2 weeks after your session for a viewing & ordering appointment. All purchases will be made at this time, so it is important that all decision makers are present.
Collections begin at $225 and include a select number of digital images plus print credit. A la carte print art options are available starting at $50.
*It's important to note that 45 minutes of studio time does not mean 45 minutes of photographing. Many pets need time to adjust to being in a new space and I want them to get comfortable with me before I start giving them commands. This extra time is buffered into your session so that we do not have to rush.
Please keep an eye on this page as well as our Facebook page to see when booking has been re-opened.
