I absolutely love when a couple is proactive and excited about their engagement session… Danae and Jason took the time to scope out locations before the shoot, and they had some really fantastic ideas! In fact, they had so many great ideas, that we are planning Part 2 of this session for late next month. So you can expect to see their smiling faces back here again in a few weeks!
For this shoot, we started out at The Cotton Exchange, and then wandered around Downtown Wilmington to find some cool spots. The weather was quite warm, which was a nice surprise!
Seriously… they are the cutest! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Then we headed to an old run down building that was covered in graffiti… it made for some fun portraits! I love this series. 🙂
To finish up, we headed over to some locations inspired by the TV show “One Tree Hill.” They use some really fabulous parts of Wilmington to film the show, and it was great to check them out and put my own spin on them. You may remember this bridge from the opening credits:
And then, of course, there is the infamous River Court that overlooks Downtown Wilmington. This was the perfect setting for Danae & Jason’s team rivalry. 😉
I had such a blast working with these guys, I can’t wait to do it again! Check back again in May for Part 2. 🙂
Be social!
