Bold & Colorful studio pet portraits

Myrtle Beach Area Pet Photographer

The Unleashed portrait program was created in 2012 to help benefit local animal shelters. So many of them are very often at maximum capacity and could use all the help they can get to take care of these sweet animals!

Our limited edition studio sessions are only available 1-2 times a year. These pet events are focused on bringing in donations as well as spreading awareness for local animal shelters. Limited dates and times are available.

The process:

1. Inquiry & consultation

Once you've read through the information here on our website, fill out the contact form to receive additional information. Then we'll schedule a quick call to see if we're a good fit to work together.

2. Booking & Styling

A contract and session fee are required to reserve your spot for this event. Next we'll talk about background colors for the photos, your pets personality, and where in your home you'd like to display portrait art.

3. Session Day

Let the fun begin! I'll take a few minutes to get to know your pet  and then we'll start photographing. I move quickly, as most animals lose focus within a few minutes of following commands.

4. Image Reveal & Ordering

It's time for the big reveal! In 1-2 weeks we will meet at the studio for a presentation of your finished portraits. Here you'll make the final purchase decisions on your art pieces and digital images.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I be in the photos with my pet?
No, my sets are sized to accommodate pets only.

Can I bring a pet that's not a cat or dog?
Absolutely! I've welcomed many types of pets in the studio, including snakes, hedgehogs, pigs, rats, raccoons, and even a monkey!

Do you photograph on location?
Pet portraits are done exclusively in studio.

• Will there be other pets present during my session?
Nope! In fact, the studio door is kept locked when an animal is inside. If sessions are scheduled back-to-back, families are asked to wait outside until their session time and the studio is clear.

• Can I book a pet session outside of your event dates?
No, our pet sessions are only available during the specified event times. Because my studio focuses on newborns and babies, it is important for me to keep the studio clean, sanitized and free of pet hair and dander.
