We had the best time celebrating Isaac’s first birthday with a splashy “Ofishally One” photo session! The set his Mama chose had the perfect blend of outdoor adventure vibes and colorful fish decorations.
This session was full of smiles, cake-covered faces, and even a special appearance from his big brother, Ian!
Family & “Clean” Photos
Every session starts with some “clean” photos—before the cake and fun get super messy!
For Isaac’s session, we took some updated family portraits, followed by sweet shots of him and his brother. These photos are perfect for updating your wall gallery at home!
The Cake Smash
Now, onto the part we were all waiting for—Isaac’s cake smash! With a cake that matched his fishing theme and curiosity written all over his face, Isaac dove right in. There’s nothing better than watching a one-year-old figure out cake in the most delightfully messy way possible!
Big Brother Joins In
As if the session couldn’t get any sweeter, Isaac’s big brother Ian jumped in for a few cake smash photos too! Seeing the two brothers together, laughing and sharing in the messy fun, was a highlight of the session.
He didn’t even mind that his little brothers feet had been all through the cake! 😂😂
Bath Splash Time!
Of course, no cake smash is complete without a bath! After all that cake-covered fun, Isaac splashed into a miniature tub for some cleanup and this is where he really had a blast! The water and bubbles brought out his biggest smiles, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the session.
Not every baby loves the cake, but I am proud to say that I am at a 90% success rate with fun in the tub.

I couldn’t end this post without adding in a little throwback to Isaac’s newborn session! We styled those sets in teals and blues, also with a fun fishy theme.
I love seeing everything come together for first birthday, and it’s incredible to see how much everyone has grown!
