It’s an honor to be able to snuggle all of these tiny humans in their first few weeks of life, but I’m always humbled when another photographer reaches out for a photo session. Miss Penelope is the 4th baby that I’ve photographed for Casie, and she is without a doubt the perfect (final) addition to their family.
Penelope is a rainbow baby, so her session was extra special. For those that are unfamiliar with the term, a rainbow baby is a baby born after a miscarriage, stillborn, or infant loss. These amazing babies are a symbol of hope for their families… much like a rainbow, they symbolize something beautiful that comes after a storm.
Mom chose pink and purple for her session, which is one of my favorite color combinations! I added in some florals (because who doesn’t love flowers?) and we even did a few photos to match the photos of her siblings that are on display at home.

Penelope didn’t arrive in time for Christmas, but she did arrive in time to see the first snowfall that has landed in Myrtle Beach in 8 years!
And finally, here is an updated family portrait with all four of their beautiful babies. The twins were actually featured in a promotional video that was created for me by Four Pedal Films a few years ago!
