Thank you, Pantone… Purple is Back! | Portrait Inspiration

It’s official, folks. The Pantone color of the year is Ultra Violet! I very rarely get requests for purple in my studio so I’m pretty excited at the thought of possibly getting to use it more in 2018. While most Moms that choose purple for their session like to have it as the primary color, it also works well as a simple accent color. Lavender seems to be the top choice for baby sessions but I would love to see Moms start to embrace the beauty of dark purple!

I had to dig deep into the archives to find some of these, but here are a few of my favorite images using the color purple. 🙂

While I don’t get very many requests for purple for my newborn & baby session, the lavender backdrop is quite a popular choice for pet Moms!
