For those that are unfamiliar with the term, a rainbow baby is a baby born after a miscarriage, stillborn, or infant loss. These amazing babies are a symbol of hope for their families… much like a rainbow, they symbolize something beautiful that comes after a storm.
Having the opportunity to photograph these beautiful rainbow babies is one of the biggest honors of my career.
I have a variety of items in my studio to use for a rainbow set, including felted hearts and rainbows, swaddles, and fabrics. Parents are also welcome to bring in small tokens from home to incorporate into the session. The beautiful boy below is laying with his brother’s blanket and teddy bear.
