The beauty of being in an artistic industry is that no matter how long you’ve been in it, there is always, always something new to learn. I’ve been in business for over 13 years, but I’m always finding new ways to improve and enhance my images and workflow so that I can better serve my clients.
Claudia has been one of my biggest inspirations for many years. Her use of bold, saturated colors makes her work truly unique in our industry. When I saw her maternity images hit social media I knew right then and there that I had to make the investment in one of her workshops!
Last summer I traveled to the Fab Photography photo studio in North Providence, Rhode Island. Lina was a wonderful host and such a joy to be around! The positive energy in this space was off the charts and it was incredible to learn with such a powerful group of female artists.
Day One: Newborn Photography
On the first day, we worked with two sweet newborn girls. Claudia showed us how she styles, lights, poses, and edits newborns in her sessions. The Queen of Color did not dissapoint!
We worked with a variety of poses and colors. (I think the purple set might be my favorite!)
Day Two: Maternity Portraits
On the second day of the workshop the energy was high, the music was loud, and the models were stunning! We learned important posing tips and a variety of lighting techniques to create gorgeous, magazine-worthy images.
Never stop learning.
This entire experience was seriously worth every penny. Claudia was not only incredibly organized (this workshop ran like a well-oiled machine!) but she was an open book and happy to answer any questions that we had. Not only that, but she keeps herself available to her students long after the class is over, continuously sharing and providing continued education in her student groups.
Invest in your education, friends. And never stop learning.
Speaking of learning… Claudia is coming to Myrtle Beach in 2023!
I am SO excited to end this post by announcing that I will be hosting Claudia at my studio this July! Spaces are limited so if you’re interested in learning from the best, don’t delay! There is a discount if you choose to attend both workshops, which is what I recommend.
This experience will be worth every single penny, friends.
Be social!
