I can’t believe I’m here writing this post already… my handsome nephew is growing up so fast!! As a Mom you know that babies don’t keep, and yet somehow we’re still always so surprised at how quickly the time seems to pass. (Amirite?!)
Jayson came in earlier this month for his sitter session. I’ve found that bigger babies tend to hit many of their milestones sooner and Jay was no exception, sitting steadily right at 6 months old. (At the time of this post he’s 7 months old and weighs 4 pounds less than my 20 month old… whaaaat??)
For his first set we did a tool theme… this one was for his Papa! How cute is his custom hat?!
With every milestone session that I do, I try and create at least one set that matches the theme or colors of the newborn session. These are great comparison photos, and look great framed next to each other! With Jayson I had quite a bit of creative freedom and since he was such a good model we got through quite a few sets.
Aren’t those the cutest?? Here are a few more of the images that we captured at his session, including a fun beach scene. This is one of my favorite things about having a studio… we can take beach photos without the wind in your face or the sand, well, everywhere!
While I had Jay in the studio we also took the opportunity to take our very first non-cell phone photo of the grandkids together. We printed this in a beautiful 16×20 canvas as a gift to Grandma for Mother’s Day.
If you’re interested in a milestone session for your little one, I would love to chat with you! Head on over to the milestones page for more information. I look forward to creating something beautiful for you!
