It is my honor to introduce you to Jana & Brandon, and ah-ma-zing husband and wife videography team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They got married in November of this year at one of my favorite local venues, The Peanut Warehouse. In an unfortunate turn of events, Jana and Brandon heard the words that no couple wants to hear while anxiously waiting for their gallery to be delivered… “Your wedding photos are gone.” While they did have a professional video and plenty of cell phone snapshots to remember the day, it’s certainly not the same as having professional images to look back on.
Hearing this news broke my heart and I wanted to do what I could to help give this amazing couple something to remember. Nothing can replace those lost wedding day memories but I wanted to pay it forward and offer them a newlywed session.
With a dress as stunning as Jana’s (thank you, Fancy Frocks!) we really needed the perfect setting for their portraits. After going back and forth on a few venue ideas, we settled on Heritage Plantation in Pawley’s Island. I absolutely adore this venue! The humidity may have been at 900% that day (I’m only slightly exaggerating) but we were graced with a subtle, yet beautiful sunset and the overcast sky really brought out the lush greens of this landscape.
