When life gives you a tropical storm on the day of your beach wedding, you get out there and make the most epic wedding day photos ever!
Emily and Tommy met in high school. Their first date? A candy shop! He bought her gummy bears and they ate them sitting on the trunk of his Oldsmobile. And on that day… she knew he was the one.
Here is their proposal story, in Emily’s words:
“I was so shocked! I was nannying for a photographer in Washington and he had secretly talked to her about setting up a proposal shoot. She had told me casually plenty of times that she wanted to photograph us for a ‘fake engagement shoot’ to build up her portfolio. So we went to the shoot and I didn’t think anything of it! At the end, she wanted to do a proposal pic. I was like ahhh this is awkward! Then he got on one knee and pulled out a ring and I was like is this real?!?? It was.” 🙂
Without further ado, here are some of my favorite photos from Emily & Tommy’s perfect wedding day. 🙂
