Sunnyside Plantation is on my list as one of the best wedding venues in Myrtle Beach & the Grand Strand. This 1800’s plantation home is privately owned and closed to the public except for weddings & other events.
This property is a wide-open space, large enough for you to host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in different areas! The live oaks and breathtaking view of the inlet make this venue truly special.

- The outdoor ceremony site is absolutely beautiful. You have the option of using the water or the trees as the backdrop for your service.
- Looking for a place to do your bridal or engagement session? We can do it right at Sunnyside! (Reservations required.)
Helpful tips & info:
- You definitely need a tent! Your reception must be held outdoors, so a tent is a necessity in the event of rain.
- Hire an event designer! In the past, I’ve worked with RSG Event Designs and they do an incredible job of making each event special. They specialize not only in just florals, but custom lighting, specialty rentals, and draping.
